  • Any Windows version, including:
    • Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP (32 / 64 bit)
    • Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003 (32 / 64 bit)
    • Windows 2000, Windows NT 4
    • Windows ME, 98, 95
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 14 MB free disk space

* Full version requires an Internet connection to work.

Demo version limitations

Applications protected with the demo version of PELock have many limitations that aren't present in full version e.g.:

  • Protected applications display a message box at startup
  • Protected applications expire in 7 days after the date of protection
  • Project files cannot be loaded or saved
  • Many of the protection features are unavailable
  • The following SDK encryption macros are disabled:
    • CRYPT_START
    • CLEAR_START
    • FILE_CRYPT_START
    • UNPROTECTED_START
    • UNPROTECTED_START
  • The sample generator is unavailable
